Federal Fire Service Records 77 Outbreaks In Kebbi

The Federal Fire Service Office in Kebbi State has revealed that it has recorded 77 fire outbreaks in the state in 2025.

State Commandant of the Service, ACF Hassan Danashibi Jega revealed this to our reporter during an interview in his office on Tuesday in Birnin Kebbi.

According to him, Birnin Kebbi Local Government recorded 77 while Jega recorded 24 outbreaks respectively, adding that three lives were lost in Birnin Kebbi and none recorded in Jega.

ACF Danashibi Jega also revealed that the Command seved four lives in Birnin Kebbi and another four in Jega Local Government.

The Commandant, however, advised households in the state to always switch off their electrical appliances before going to sleep.

He warned people in rural areas to avoid keeping or hoarding petrol or gas in their houses during the harmattan period.

“Let me use this opportunity to thank the Governor of Kebbi State, Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu) for his intervention, financially towards the success of our operations in the state,” Danashibi Jega said.
