Eid-al-Fitr: FCTFA Chairman Urges Tolerance, Peaceful Coexistence

The Chairman, Federal Capital Territory FootballAssociation, FCTFA, Alhaji Mouktar Muhammed on the joyous occasion of Eid-al-Fitr, extends his warmest felicitations to all Muslims across the nation and around the world. 

Alhaji Mouktar described Eid as an occasion that embodies the enduring values of compassion, unity, sacrifice, and gratitude. 

He said it is an opportunity for individuals and communities to renew their faith, strengthen bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood, and extend generosity to those in need. 

“The lessons of patience, humility and self-discipline learned during Ramadan serve as a guiding light for building a more just and harmonious society.

“I commend the unwavering devotion demonstrated throughout the holy month and pray that all supplications, and sacrifices are graciously accepted. May this sacred occasion usher in peace, prosperity, and renewed hope for families, communities, and the nation at large.

“As we celebrate, I encourage everyone to uphold the spirit of Eid by promoting tolerance, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence. Let us also remember the less privileged and continue to extend kindness and support to those facing hardship.”

“May this Eid bring abundant blessings, good health, and lasting happiness to all. May it inspire continued commitment to the values of unity, compassion, and service to humanity”.

This auspicious celebration marks the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan, a period devoted to fasting, prayer, reflection, and acts of charity.
