Bauchi Police Command Deploys Massive Security Operatives To Alkaleri Communities

Bauchi State Commissioner of Police, Sani-Omolori Aliyu has informed that the Command, following recent breach of security in Mansur, deployed massive joint security personnel to affected communities in Alkaleri Local Government Area.

The Commissioner of Police spoke to journalists in Bauchi on Thursday, through the Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Command, SP Nafiu Habib at the Commands headquarters.

CP Aliyu reassured residents of Mansur and surrounding communities of Alkaleri Local Government area that the security situation is under control, despite recent incidents in neighboring Gwana district.

He attributed the security challenges to the infiltration of criminal elements from neighboring states, confirming that massive deployments of security personnel and enhanced weaponry have been put in place to subdue kidnapping and banditry.

He said that the collaborative efforts between Police, Military, DSS, NCDC and other security agencies, with the support of the Bauchi State Government, are yielding positive results, with operatives working tirelessly round the clock to ensure peace and stability in the affected areas.

The Command emphasized the importance of community cooperation in the fight against crime, advising residents to provide intelligence information to security agencies and report suspicious activities, assuring that their identities will be protected.

The Nigeria Police Force encourages residents to take advantage of the security measures put in place and go about their daily activities without fear of attack by criminals of any kind.
