BASG Enhances Ramadan Feeding Support For Mosques Across 20 LGAs

Bauchi State Government, under the people-oriented and visionary leadership of Governor Bala Mohammed, has doubled its annual Ramadan feeding allocation to mosques across the 20 Local Government areas of the state.

The State Commissioner of Religious Affairs, Muhammad Binni Abdulkhadir, unfolded this during a meeting with Islamic scholars and mosque leaders drawn from across 20 LGAs in Bauchi State.

The meeting which took place at the Sir Ahmadu Bello International Conference Centre, Bauchi, saw the commissioner addressing the gathering, where he commended Governor Bala Mohammed for his unwavering commitment to religious affairs and for the consistent support his administration continues to provide to faith-based institutions throughout the state.

He expressed profound appreciation to the Governor for increasing this year’s Ramadan feeding allocation beyond what was provided in previous years, describing the gesture as a clear demonstration of compassionate, inclusive, and people-centered leadership.

Hon. Muhammad Binni urged mosque committees and administrators to ensure that the resources provided are judiciously utilized and transparently distributed, particularly to the less privileged and vulnerable members of the society during the breaking of fast (Iftar).

He further called on Islamic scholars and religious leaders across the state to intensify special prayers to Governor Bala Mohammed, his administration and for the sustained peace, unity and development of Bauchi State.

“The Ramadan feeding initiative, among other people-oriented programmes, reflects the administration’s sustained dedication to promoting religious harmony, social welfare, and inclusive development across Bauchi State,” he said.
