The Kaduna State gubernatorial candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Rt. Hon. Isa Mohammed Ashiru, has expressed deep sadness over the death of a committed member of the party in Kaduna State, Hon. Ya’u Musa Ziko.
Ashiru described Hon. Ziko as a dedicated party member and a valued supporter who made significant contributions to the growth and strengthening of the ADC in the state.
Hon. Ya’u Musa Ziko died on Saturday in a tragic motor accident along the Kaduna-Kachia Road. He has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
In a condolence message made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Sunday by Ashiru’s Spokesman, Abdulwaheed Olayinka Adubi, the ADC candidate described the deceased’s death as a painful loss to the party, particularly at a time when members are working collectively towards building a stronger, united and prosperous Kaduna State.
Rt. Hon. Isa Mohammed Ashiru who is also the Sarkin Bai of Zazzau and ADC’s gubernatorial candidate in Kaduna State commiserated with the immediate family, friends, associates and fellow members of the ADC over the irreparable loss, praying Almighty Allah to grant them the strength and comfort to bear the tragedy.
“His death is a painful loss to us as a party and to all those who had the privilege of knowing and working with him. We will remember his commitment, loyalty and contributions to the growth of our party.
“At this difficult moment, our thoughts and prayers are with his family. May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him Aljannah Firdaus and give his loved ones the fortitude to bear this great loss,” Ashiru said.
The ADC candidate urged party members and supporters to stand in solidarity with the bereaved family and continue to uphold the values of unity, peace and service to the people to which the deceased was committed.
