Kwankwaso And I Have Presented Our Background, From Our Date Of Birth To Our School Certs – Obi

Presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Obi, has emphasized that he and his running mate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, have made their personal and educational backgrounds available for Nigerians to examine and verify.

Obi made the statement while speaking during a recent engagement with Nigerians, stressing that the records of both politicians should be subjected to public scrutiny.

According to Obi, there should be no mystery surrounding the identities, educational histories or personal records of individuals seeking to occupy Nigeria’s highest political office.

He maintained that he and Kwankwaso have provided details about their backgrounds, including their dates of birth, schools attended and educational qualifications.

In his words, “Me and Kwankwaso have presented our background, from our date of birth to our school, education and everything to the people.” He added that Nigerians have the opportunity to investigate the information provided and determine whether the records presented by both men are genuine.

Obi further stated, “You can go and verify our background world-wide, anywhere.” With this statement, the NDC presidential candidate appeared to be challenging Nigerians and other interested parties to independently scrutinize the information surrounding his background and that of Kwankwaso.

The comment comes amid increasing political activities ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election. Obi and Kwankwaso are currently presenting themselves as a political team seeking to offer Nigerians an alternative to the existing political establishment.

Recent reports also show that both politicians have been actively engaging supporters and speaking about the need for Nigerians to make informed decisions at the polls.
