Babachir Lawal, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), has reacted to Buba Galadima’s claim that he did not help late President Muhammadu Buhari become president but still benefited from Buhari’s government

In an interview with JKD Media Television, Lawal said Galadima did not know about his close relationship with Buhari.

He asked whether Galadima knew that Buhari paid his school fees when he went to a seminary to study Christian theology.

Lawal also asked whether Galadima knew that Buhari provided a military uniform for him while he was a student at the Nigerian Military School

In Lawal’s words: “Was Buba Galadima there when I was eating eating Buhari’s lunch, was he aware of the fact that Buhari was sewing my military uniform to military NMS.

Does Buba Galadima know that when I went to the Seminary to study Christian Theology Buhari paid the school fees. Does he know that? He doesn’t”
