ADC Reacts As Ex Humanitarian Minister, Betta Edu Is Included On List Of Tinubu’s Campaign Council
The spokeperson of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Bolaji Abdullahi has reacted after the name of the sacked Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Betta Edu was included on the list of Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council.
The statement of Bolaji Abdullahi was contained in a statement that was published on the official X handle of African Democratic Congress, ADC on Saturday, August 22, 2026.
This is coming after Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Information and Strategy listed members of the campaign council.
Here is what he wrote;
“President Tinubu has charged all council members to work tirelessly to deliver victory for the party in the January 2027 elections. He has also encouraged the leaders of the various directorates to reach out to other party members who may not have been formally listed to join their crucial efforts”.
However, Bolaji Abdullahi has now criticized members of the campaign council. In the statement that surfaced online, the ADC spokesperson said Tinubu’s campaign council is the rehabilitation center for corruption suspects.
Here is what ADC wrote on its official X handle;
“One important question that the inclusion of these individuals provokes is what happened to the cases involving these individuals. If they have been cleared, the government should show how and when and by whom they were cleared”.
