Osun Election: Panic in Modakeke as alleged policemen cart away materials

Voting was reportedly disrupted in Modakeke Ward 10, Osun State, on Saturday after persons suspected to be policemen allegedly seized election materials and dispersed voters and election officials.

According to an eyewitness, the incident occurred after the polling area had remained peaceful.

“All the election agents and corps members took to their heels as soon as they arrived,” the witness said.

The development reportedly caused panic at the polling area, with election officials and party agents fleeing for safety.
