2027: APC Aspirants Forum Approves Tinubu, Gov Idris For Second Term

Ahead of the 2027 general elections, a Forum of All Progressive Congress (APC) Aspirants in Kebbi State have unanimously endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Nasir Idris as their choices for the forthcoming polls.
The Forum’s Chairman, Alhaji Abdulaziz Yusuf Bazata announced the endorsement in a Communique issued at the end of their maiden meeting held on Sunday at the Renewed Hope office in Birnin Kebbi.
According to the Communique, the meeting brought together APC aspirants for Senate, House of Representatives and State Assembly where they deliberated on issues concerning governance, party administration and preparation for 2027 general elections across the country.
It commended Governor Nasir Idris for his inclusive and people-oriented leadership which resulted in his administration recording remarkable development across sectors in Kebbi State.
The Forum, while assuring their readiness to mobilise all APC members and supporters across the 21 Local Government areas of Kebbi State towards securing victory in the general elections, appealed to APC leadership in the state to include its members in the campaign councils at all levels in order strengthen the party’s unity ahead of the elections.
Chairman of the Forum, however, commended Governor Idris for the reimbursement of the expenses they incurred during the primaries following reconciliations that resulted in their withdrawals during the consensus and primary elections.
