Warinje FC Sacks Tech Crew, Others, Appoints Yellow Interim Coach

In preparation for the 2026/2027 league season, Warinje Football Club of Bauçhi has started restructuring of the team ahead of the forthcoming season to fortify the team before the challenges ahead.
As part of the preparations, the management board of the club announced the immediate dissolution of its technical crew and restructuring administrative department aimed at repositioning of the club for better performance ahead.
Chairman of the club, Musa Abdullahi Maiauduga made this known through in a statement made available to sports journalists in Bauchi recently. It said that “the dissolution of the technical crew and other officials became necessary following a review of the club’s performance last season and future plan.
According to the statement, the board relieved Technical Director, Abdullahi Adamu and Team Manager Bala, Garba of their duties with immediate effect.
Others affected include the entire technical team and backroom officials aimed at achieving the club’s long-term objectives.
Saidu Abdullahi, popularly known as “Coach Yellow,” has been appointed as the interim head coach to take charge of training and preparations pending substantive appointments of new coach.
The statement directed that all home-based players to resume training immediately as the club begins its rebuilding process.
The board further ordered the return of all club properties currently in the possession of former officials to Rabiu Abdullahi, popularly known as “Rangers.” It also introduced a new communication protocol, directing that all official correspondences must carry the club’s new letter head and be signed only by the CEO or Chairman/General Manager.
Warinje FC said a new set of officials and technical personnel will be unveiled soon as the club enters the next phase of its restructuring.
The board appreciated the contributions of the outgoing officials, saying: “We wish you all the best in your future endeavours.”
