Mohammed Sanusi/FCT Coaches Pre-season Tournament Finalists Emerge

Capital City Football Club and Sir P Football Club have qualified for the final of the 2026 Edition of the Mohammed Sanusi FCT Coaches Pre-season Tournament.

The tournament which has 16 teams participating is organized by the Nigerian Football Coaches Association, FCT Chapter and sponsored by the General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi (MON).

Revealing this after the semi-final matches, the chairman of the organizing committee, Bala Nkiyu said “it has been a very eventful tournament, where we have 16 teams all shared into a group of four, with two each qualifying for the quarter-finals.

Youthful Babes and Sun Sports emerged from Group A, with Capital City and Haniks coming from Group B. Sir P and Rock U emerged from Group C. Pride FC and Zeal O from Group D.

Bala Nkiyu who was a national team handler said Youthful Babes defeated Haniks 4-0, Capital City dismissed SUN Sports by 2-0 and Rock United walloped Pride FC 5-0, all in the quarter finals.

In the semi-finals, Sir P outscored Haniks on penalties after a one-all full time scores, while Capital City defeated Pride FC by 3-1.
