Kebbi SEC Approves Rehabilitation Of 21 Additional PHCs, Others

Kebbi State Executive Council (SEC) has approved N1,709,525,252.53 for the immediate rehabilitation of 21 additional Primary Health Centres (PHCs) across the state.
Commissioner for Information and Culture, Yakubu Ahmed Birnin Kebbi made this known to journalists on Thursday during a press briefing held at the Conference Hall of his Ministry in Birnin Kebbi.
According to him, SEC gave the approval during its sitting in March, 2026.
Other approvals include the rehabilitation and modifications of the Martha Bamaiyi General Hospital in Zuru at N926,371,292.26, release of N2,000,000,000 and another N1,000,000,000 as the Counterpart funds to the Rural Access And Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) and seed funding for the take- off of the Kebbi State Rural Access Roads Agency (RARA).
Birnin Kebbi further disclosed that SEC also approved five hundred million naira as Counterpart funding to enable Kebbi State to participate in and benefit from the SPIN world bank project.
Similarly, the sum of N975, 076, 883.00 was also earmarked to provide electricity, water and other essentials commodities at Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu Housing Estate in Birnin Kebbi.
The Commissioner noted that governor Nasir Idris is willing to transform all sectors with developmental projects that impacted the livelihood of the people in the state.
