Nutracoat, Nutramix Fertilizer Reduces Cost To Farmers By 20-30% – Expert

The Head of Agricultural Extension Services at the Institute of Agricultural Research (IAR), Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Dr. Sharhabil Musa Yahaya has said that Nutracoat and Nutramix fertilizer will reduce production cost to farmers by 20-30 per cent, adding that “it is very active and it will boost farmers yield.”

He stated this while presenting result from 36 demonstration farms conducted by the Institute for Agricultural Research to the Universal Speciality Chemicals PVT Limited, at the institute recently.

Dr. Sharhabil added that, if farmers have easy access to the product, it will make positive impact to them by making more gains and boost their production.

Dr. Sharhabil advised farmers to use this new fertilizer which reduces the fertilizer application on a hectre.

He called on the Universal Speciality Chemicals Africa Limited to make the product available and affordable to the peasant farmers.

The Institute for Agricultural Research (IAR) in collaboration with Universal Speciality Chemicals PVT Limited conducted the demonstration trial with Nutracoat and Nutramix fertilizer.

In his remarks, a Senior Agronomist with Universal Speciality Chemicals PVT Limited Mr. Chandrashekhar More said Nutracoat and Nutramix fertilizer has no negative effect to human health and farmland.

Mr. More said, the fertilizer were made from natural ingredients locally source without any chemical.

According to him, Nutracoat and Nutramix fertilizer when used, it will reduce production cost to farmers by 30-50 per cent.

The Senior Agronomist said, the new fertilizer is very active and it will boost farmers yield, unlike the normal fertilizer.

Some farmers who participated actively in the demonstration trial have expressed their appreciation over what they described as wonderful production success beyond their expectations.

The farmers appealed to the company to make it available and affordable to all farmers in Nigeria.
