Bauchi Gov Observes Eid Prayers, Preaches Unity, Peaceful Coexistence

The Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed, today joined thousands of Muslim faithful at the Eid Ground in Bauchi to observe the Eid prayers, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

The Governor was accompanied by the Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Auwal Jatau, senior government officials, and the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji (Dr.) Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, alongside a large gathering of worshippers who turned out in unity and devotion.

Speaking to journalists shortly after the prayers, Governor Bala Mohammed urged the people of Bauchi State to sustain the spirit of reflection, sacrifice, and compassion imbibed during Ramadan.

He called on citizens to continue praying for lasting peace and to support ongoing efforts to address security challenges affecting both the state and the nation.

The Governor also reassured civil servants of his administration’s commitment to their welfare, stating that deliberate steps are being taken to ensure the payment of gratuities before the end of his tenure.

Governor Mohammed emphasized the importance of unity, patience and collective responsibility in building a more peaceful and prosperous Bauchi State.
