Breaking: Yauri 2026 Rigata Festival Postponed

The much expected Yauri Rigata Cultural and Heritage Festival, earlier scheduled to commence from 4 to 7 February, 2026 has been cancelled indefinitely.

Although no official statement to that effect from neither of the organising committee nor the any authority, our Correspondent’s enquiry from the publicity committee on Sunday whose the vice chairman is Abubakar Sa’idu Ubandoman Yauri revealed that the event has been postponed till further notice.

He confirmed that the postponement is not unconnected with the ill-preparations by the various committees saddled with the responsibility of ensuring the success of the historic festival, noting that a new date would be announced in due course.
