Gov Uba Sani visits Mrs Achi, Daughter At 44 Hospital

Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani has, over the weekend, visited the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna to personally ascertain the health condition of Mrs Sarah Achi and her daughter who recently regained freedom from captivity, where he conveyed his condolences over the death of her husband, Edwin Achi. His Excellency took time to personally give account of the visit on his Facebook Wall thus:

“I visited the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital to meet Mrs Sarah Achi and her daughter, recently released from captivity, and to personally convey my condolences on the tragic death of her husband, the late Venerable Edwin Achi. It was a moment of deep solemnity, and I expressed my heartfelt sympathies as the family confronts grief and the long path to healing. I was accompanied on this visit by the Anglican Archbishop of Kaduna Province, Most Revd. Timothy Yahaya.

“I assured Mrs Achi of the unwavering support of the Kaduna State Government. This includes the provision of a home, full sponsorship of the children’s education, settlement of all medical expenses, and sustained psychosocial care to aid their recovery and reintegration into society. These interventions reflect our firm commitment to standing with victims of banditry and to ensuring that compassion, justice and human dignity remain at the centre of governance.

“I commended the security agencies for their professionalism, courage and effective collaboration with the Kaduna State Government, which led to the successful release of the victims. Their sacrifice and dedication continue to strengthen public confidence in our security architecture.

“Before leaving the hospital, I visited several other patients in the hospital, offered encouragement, and reaffirmed commitment to strengthen healthcare and security statewide.”
