Bachama Christian Militias Accuse ADSG, Security Agents Of Bias

Militia Commander

According to reports by NorthernFacts on its X handle, Bachama Christian M⁸ilitias have accused the Adamawa State Government and the security agents of being bias in the effort to quench the confrontational conflicts with fellow Christian Tchobo tribesmen in Lamurde Local Government Area.

In summary, the Militia’s Commander (name not mentioned), is appealing to the state government to withdraw all security agents to give them room for a one-on-one confrontation with their adversaries, the Christian Tshobo fighters.

Reports indicate that the Tshobo Christian tribesmen and the Bachama tribesmen have been engaged in violent clashes since early December 2025, with retaliatory attacks on both sides.

It was further reported that the radical Tshobo Christian tribesmen have mobilized and reinforced with supporters from neighbouring Gombe State to launch attacks on Bachama Christian communities across Lamurde LGA.

The root causes of the conflict are reportedly not unconnected with disputes over kingship and land ownership.
