Provide Us With Intelligence Gathering To End Terrorism – Kebbi CP Urges

The newly posted Kebbi State Commissioner of Police, Umar Muhammed Hadejia has urged officers of the Command and community leaders in the state to provide the Command with intelligence gathering Informations in order to “fight-to-finish” with all forms of terrorism activities in the state.

He made this request on Monday when he addressed officers of the Command shortly after he assumed office as new Commissioner of Police in the state.

He said “I have hearing about the persistence of banditry, terrorists attacks and all other criminal activities across Kebbi State, including its border areas, the Inspector General of Police found me worthy to come to this state to change the narratives.

“I will make sure I act professionally and divisively to justify the confidence reposed in me by the force headquarters,” Hadejia added.

He however, urged security personnel, community leaders and the general public to support his Command with vital Information regarding criminal activities, in his zeal to make Kebbi State free from insecurity.

The New Police Boss also promised to work with the Kebbi State Government in order to safeguard lives and properties, and also ensure peace across the state.

He also sought the support of the media practitioners in the state in exposing criminal activities.
