Kaduna: Beauty of Ham honours 6 illustrious sons, daughters

A non-governmental organisation, Beauty of Ham, has presented awards of honour to six illustrious sons and daughters of Ham land, Kaduna state.
The recipients of the awards are; Barr (Dr) Deborah Usman (Jakadiya Jaba/ Jaruman Jama’a), Professor Tunga Lergo, and Hon. Gabriel Saleh Zock, a member the House of Representatives, representing the Kagarko/ Kachia constituency.
The others are Hon Henry Marah, a member of the Kaduna state House of Assembly, Mrs Deborah Stephen, and Engr Yusuf Matashi (Shiminga).
Speaking at the event, which took place at Tsakiya Daddu, Jaba local government area of Kaduna state during the New Year celebrations, the chairman of the association Comrade Emmanuel Adams, described the association as a group of likeminded youths of Jaba tribe, aimed at contributing their quota in bringing rapid capital and human development to Jaba land.
He said the recipients were being honoured owing to the roles they have been playing to bring meaningful development to Jaba land.
Adams reiterated the association’s readiness in doing everything possible to encourage the illustrious sons of Jaba to do more for the people, elevate their standard of living and advocate for good governance for all.
He then urged them to sustain the tempo anytime the need arises to take the areas to another level of meaningful development.
In a remark, the Director Publicity and Information, Beauty of Ham, Comrade Daniel Bulus (Danny Young), said the association will continue to render its services to their fatherland, humanity and the nation in general.
Prof Tunga Lergo, represented by Comrade Obadiah Iliya, while speaking for the recipients, commended Beauty of Ham for their activities, which he described as timely and in line with his initiatives.
