Only Believers Will See Jesus In His 2nd Coming – Apostle Okoriko

Apostle John Okoriko

The Founder of Solid Rock Kingdom Church in Akwa Ibom State, Apostle John Okoriko, has revealed the scripture, saying that the second coming of Jesus to the world is not for non believers, contrary to religious beliefs that Jesus would ride on the cloud and all eyes will see Him.

Apostle Okoriko made the shocking revelation in his Church on Sunday in Uyo during the monthly Interactive Service in the New Year on the theme “The Temple of His Body.”

He argued that when Jesus resurrected, there were only His disciples whom he walked with around Jerusalem for 40 days before His ascension to Heaven.

In the same manner that Jesus resurrected where only the disciples who walked with Him saw Him, will it also be in His second coming.

“When Jesus is coming back, only the eyes of believers would see Him. He is coming for the church and not for the world.

“What Jesus would do after his resurrection and ascension has to do with his church, not the world, contrary to what many people are speculating that Jesus would come from the sky and every eye shall see him.

“Coming back again as stated in the scriptures was referring to his resurrection not coming through the sky which he ascended,” Apostle Okoriko asserted.

Speaking on the temple as the body of Christ, Apostle Okoriko described the temple of Christ as a mystical body that Jesus built 2000 years ago for believers.

Okoriko said that Jesus challenged the Jews to destroy the temple and promised to rebuild it in three days, adding that Jesus was referring to the temple of his body which he reclaimed after being killed and resurrected in three days .

He said the long fight for control of temple in Jerusalem by religious groups is a battle in futility as God does not live in a temple built by man.

The Clergy however, faulted Nigerians and other parts of the world who struggle to go to Jerusalem just to have a glimpse of Solomon’s Temple built many years ago, describing it as religious tourism because God does not live there.

He also mocked those who travel to Jerusalem and return with items such as mud sand from sea, olive oil and other materials for the purpose of healings

“The fight between Muslems and Jews over the control/ownership of the Temple in Jerusalem is futile, null and avoid because God does not live in the temple built by man

“Those who visit Jerusalem are only embarking on religious travel to Jerusalem and return with mud sand from dead sea and items including holy water, Olive Oil, sands for healings, saying such items amount to nothing but empty faith as God doesn’t pass through them to heal His people.

“Why are they confining the God of the whole world who is Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent and has a body known as ” “Omnibody” to a small place in Jerusalem? He is the God of entire world not living in Jerusalem but present everywhere on the earth

“If you believe that mud sand from a river in Israel can cure sickness what makes you think that the sand from my village stream can’t also cure sickness?

“I am teaching my church to change the way we think about God and ourselves.”

He said Jesus expanded the temple of His body after resurrection and assured His disciples that there are many mansions there where believers can occupy for their peace, comfort and escape from any harm.
