Traditional Rulers Key To Resolving Conflicts, Crime – Sardaunan Bunza

The newly turbaned Sardaunan Bunza in Bunza Local Government area of Kebbi State, Abubakar Haliru Bunza, has said that the traditional institutions remain the closest authority to the grassroots in terms of intelligence gathering, solving conflicts and safeguarding people against criminal activities.
He stated this shortly after his turbaning as the new Sardaunan Bunza, alongside 11 others with different traditional titles by the District Head of Bunza, Dr. Aminu Haliru Bunza at his palace in Bunza.
According to him, as the custodians of people under their domains, they have a vital role to play, especially in tackling problems of insecurity in the state and the country.
Our Royal Fathers have known everyone under their domains and as well the movement of persons within communities they should be engaged in providing first hand information regarding the activities of criminals, the Sardauna said.
He further expressed gratitude for finding him worthy of the traditional title of Sardaunan Bunza.
He promised to contribute his quoter towards the development of Bunza District, Gwandu Emirate and Government of Kebbi State and the country in general.
