A Port Hacourt High Court has retained Alhaji Usani Isa Madaki as the sole Hausa Community Chief in Rivers State along side his cabinets members.

Speaking to our reporter, Alhaji Usani Madaki, the second Sarkin Hausawa in Rivers, gave glory to God saying “Alhamdulillahi, today in His infinite mercies, the High Court in Port Hacourt has come to a conclusion over legal chieftaincy tussle between me and Alhaji Musa Sa’idu who challenged me as Chief of Hausa Community in River State who took the case to court over a year ago.“

It would be recalled that since the late Isa Madaki, who was the Chief of Hausa Community in Rivers State, Alhaji Sa’idu has been parading himself as being the next Chief and not Alhaji Usani Isa Madaki. The case has been on for over a year, until today Wednesday when court put a final lid to the litigation, Madaki stated.

Meanwhile northerners resident of Port Hacourt and environs have continued to throng Madaki’s residence congratulating him.

State indegens are among well wishers of the chief over the well deserved victory.

However, the sarki has pledged to carry everybody along without discrimination. He thanked those that stood by the truth and his well deserved victory for the judgment.
