Customs Boss Eyes NWF As NSC Constitutes Electoral Committee

With the recent composition of a 7-man Electoral Committee by the National Sports Commission, NSC, to midwife elections into the various Sports Federations, reports reaching purveyor.com.ng indicate that the Comptroller-General of Customs (CGC), Adewale Adeniyi may become the next President of the Nigeria Wrestling Federation (NWF).
The Customs boss, with his outstanding quality and unwavering support for sports development in Nigeria, at the weekend, bagged the prestigious Abuja All Stars Veteran International Award for Excellence in Leadership.
Also the successful hosting of Africa Volleyball Inter-Clubs Championship in Abuja and other notable contributions in sports show that taking over Wrestling, Nigerian Wrestlers are in for best of bests locally and internationally.
Further findings, indicated that notable Nigerians including present and serving Federal Ministers are showing interest to manage sports federations as a result of restoration of confidence among the stakeholders by the National Sports Commission Chairman, Mallam Shehu Dikko and Director-General, Hon. Bukola Olopade.
